It’s full steam ahead for FutureLogic’s PromoNet, GEN 3 and TableXchange as the company celebrates 30 years
Celebrating its 30th anniversary at G2E 2013, ticket printing specialist, FutureLogic, has taken a massive slice of the market with not only its ticket printers, but the launch of promotional couponing and an announcement at G2E that the long-awaited TableXchange is undergoing GLI testing, which puts the company on track for another 30 years of success.
It’s still early days, but promotional couponing is proving itself a hugely valuable tool in rewarding both carded and non-carded slots play on the casino floor. Installations are progressing around the world as trials of FutureLogic’s PromoNet progress to full implementation and the data shows the uplift from customer play. For those still to be convinced, however, FutureLogic has launched an intermediary step - PromoNet Bank.
PromoNet Bank requires no network or server to operate on the floor, removing the IT department from the equation. PromoNet Bank is compatible with the latest FutureLogic TITO and desktop printers, providing operators with the means to allocate budgets, design coupons, select trigger marketing conditions and manually upload promotions and download issuance and redemption data to an entire bank of slots using a USB flash drive.
"Casinos can have a mini-casino promotion running on a bank of slots without any heavy IT lifting," explained FutureLogic's John Edmunds at the G2E exhibition in Las Vegas.
"Once uploaded into a bank, coupons are issued automatically from the slots based on real-time game-play behaviour that meets preset conditions. This solution personalises the player experience by allowing them to redeem, exchange or accumulate coupons, or progress through game-play according to the casino's reward programme. What's interesting from the slot manager's perspective is that PromoNet Bank takes very little time to set-up - it takes

hours to install on a laptop with very easy set-up to get the first promotions started."
For operators looking at a more comprehensive system with an emphasis on the increasing demand for business analytics, the latest version of PromoNet (3.0) features all the information casinos need to identify player preference, optimise promotion effectiveness and maximise results. The latest version has all the bells and whistles casinos need to delve deeply into their player data.
"PromoNet allows casinos to see their ROI for every promotion, before they activate it on the floor, during and after," said Mr. Edmunds. "Campaign Analytics determine the promotion's
effectiveness and the optimal conditions for every promotion. The Business Intelligence feature identifies player preference, enabling operators to configure accurate accounting and management reports. We can identify hot spots on the casino floor, linking promotions to real- time gameplay for carded and non-carded players and use bounce-back promotions to send players to bars and restaurants, then return them to the floor with additional promotional coupons linked through from the F&B outlets."
Also part of the latest version of PromoNet is Print Server Manager, a collaborative product for system vendors to be able to create their own promotional couponing without the need to resubmit their GMU. "Systems vendors are very excited about the benefits of promotional couponing, but have been reluctant to go to have to go through the process of resubmitting there GMU to the regulatory bodies," explained Mr. Edmunds. "PromoNet Print Server Manager allows them to offer promotional couponing without the GMU headache."
One of the most exciting products from FutureLogic that's been gestating for many years, TableXchange is designed to allow players to use cash out vouchers at table games. Finally submitted to GLI, FutureLogic has confirmed its first 500 unit order and as part of its deal with GCA, FutureLogic's partner for the roll-out of TableXchange in North America, is looking to finalise installation in the near future.
