Exhibition G2E LAS VEGAS 2013 GTECH’S SYSTEMS PICK-N-MIX
GTECH’s flexible scaleable system solutions have proved a hit with international operators large and small
GTECH's scaleable system solution, SYSTEM2go, has been a huge hit for the company in a sector offering mostly larger and more expensive solutions. Perfect for locations operating a smaller number of slots (ranging from 20 - 600), but still wanting all the functionality of cashless, accounting, player-tracking, and jackpot solutions, SYSTEM2go has proved to be not only the ideal answer, but the only solution designed to fit this niche.
“SYSTEM2go has worked brilliantly for the customers it was intended to serve as we rolled out in Asia," explained GTECH's Fivos Polymniou, Sales Director Systems, at the G2E 2013 show. "But it's grown since then as operators have realised the added functionality they can bring to their smaller operations due to the scalability of the solution. At the same time, they're also excited by the new functionality we are building into SYSTEM2go such as integrating table management within the package. It’s clear that SYSTEM2go has found and exploited an under- served niche, proving to be the perfect product for single and multi-site operators needing all the essential system tools for their locations."
An essential systems solution is an apt description of the functionality of SYSTEM2go, which supplies the functionality of accounting; remote reports; flexible mystery and progressive jackpots; with optional add-ons for cashless TITO/mag-card and player tracking.
"We're seeing several of the larger operators choosing to install GALAXIS (GTECH's powerful casino management tool) in their large locations, while selecting SYSTEM2go for smaller sites, synching the two together," explained Mr. Polymniou. "We are also moving into different gaming sectors, including both bingo and AWP sectors, with SYSTEM2go SAS and non-SAS options. We are also going to see some significant enhancements in 2014; including a PlayerPad, which is essentially a wireless standalone tablet, as well as the seamless integration with tables. We are also launching JP2go (Jackpot2go) at the ICE show in London, an all-in-one Jackpot solution that can sit alongside any existing system to improve any bank of slots on an operator's gaming floor. JP2go is yet another standalone innovation from GTECH that can be used to elicit more revenue from banks of legacy slots on the casino floor."

just create reports, but provide essential business intelligence.
“It’s clear that SYSTEM2go has found

As the use of business reporting has taken on an increasingly important role in everyday casino operation, the use of analytics has not just intensified, but also been refined in terms of the data that's mined. Responding to the needs of its customers, GTECH is providing tools that don't
"Customers understand that they need to delve into the data to find the specific information that they need on a daily basis," stated Mr. Polymniou. "Operators are past the level of basic slots reports and want extra detail to examine key statistics that adds extra functionality to their business. Working with BIS2 in a strategic alliance means that we can offer a complete resort-level analytical tool that allows operators to perform deep dives to extract and then analyse the data to give them a complete picture of all aspects of their business."
The final element in G2E’s presentation was the launch of a new
CRYSTAL.net application, Rub4Riches, an instant rewards offer presented via a touchscreen scratch card in which players can scratch to win a variety of different bonuses directly at the slots. This new customisable bonusing tool allows casinos to design targeted campaigns using sophisticated segmentation criteria to promote player loyalty clubs, reward loyal customers, and encourage longer play. Part of the GALAXIS Bonusing module, Rub4Riches rewards players whenever operators want.
A COMFORTABLE EXPERIENCE
PST Seating exhibited for the first time at the G2E exhibition in Vegas and made an immediate impact in the US
The UK-based seating specialist, PST Seating, clearly enjoyed its first exhibitor experience at the G2E Expo in Las Vegas. This is the first time that the company has actively targeted the US market and the response from visitors was immediate, with orders placed and samples sent straight from the stand.
“It was a great show,” confirmed PST’s Gareth Treharne. “We had cruise lines and casinos from Atlanta to Florida placing orders off the stand and we shipped samples immediately to them, with an 80 chair order for our double seater chairs already with the customer.”
Having attended the show for the last three years, Mr. Treharne has been impressed by the move to the Sands Expo and the volume of traffic generated by the composition of the hall, attracting traffic through the centre of the exhibition space. Attracting the most attention were the new designs from PST, including the company’s trumpet bases. “The bespoke features we can supply, including different heights, full leather or different fabric and
alternate variations from our online catalogue really impressed visitors,” said Mr. Treharne. “Our 500lb chair was also a hit, able to support the weight of particularly large customers - and our manufacturing turnaround and shipping to the States is also a competitive 6-7 weeks. We’re able to match and even beat the delivery times of our competitors in the US.”
PST also took orders from its established European customers at the show and even established leads from interested clients in New Zealand and Australia. “We’ll definitely be exhibiting at the show next year,” commented Mr. Treharne.
