PALAZZO HIT Cammegh expands its footprint in the US, adding the Las Vegas Sands’ Palazzo to its ever increasing list of customers


In 2011, the Nevada Gaming Control Board awarded Cammegh a manufacturer and distributor license for its world-renowned wheels. Since then the UK-based firm has added the states of Delaware, New Jersey and Washington to its tally and extended its licensed product range to include the EyeBall, Billboard and PitBoss wheel analysis system.


US operators recognised the commitment and quality of the Cammegh product range with operators across the country, from Snoqualmie and Muckleshoot Casino in Washington to MGM Grand and the Venetian Casino in Las Vegas, placing orders for the innovative range of Cammegh products. This year, at the G2E show, Cammegh confirmed its latest US success with the signing of an agreement with the Palazzo casino to supply both wheels and displays to the Vegas casino.


"It's a fantastic achievement that comes on the back of another recording-breaking year for the company," stated Andrew Cammegh. "For Las Vegas Sands to have chosen us again, having been so happy with our work in both Asia and at the Venetian in Vegas is testament to the products and service we supply, as we conduct all the installations ourselves. We've had a lot of home-grown success this year with our most recent installations with the Aspers Group, with the opening of the new Milton Keynes location. Also supplying Les Ambassadeurs with not only the wheels and Billboard displays for roulette, but also Billboard displays for all their table games as well, all with integrated surveillance cameras. The Ritz casino has also chosen the Cammegh Billboard Display System for roulette and other table games, while Aspinalls, has also ordered new Mercury 360 roulette wheels and Billboard Displays also with integrated surveillance cameras”.

product range beyond roulette-related innovations into card games. EyeCard is a camera-based card recognition system where the camera is mounted on top of a Billboard display screen and trained on the card table. Billboard, working with EyeCard, enables viewers to see the dealer’s card not as real time film but in animation form for a slick, entertaining addition to the game, and an attraction for passers-by to get involved. EyeCard is also a means to obtain the card information as dealt in games such as black jack and baccarat, and it automatically updates the traditional Baccarat scoreboard. The game result data can be exported for analysis or used with third party casino management tools.


A new development shown for the first time at the ICE show in London and featured prominently on the stand in Vegas was Cammegh’s MediaPro, a software solution designed to work with the company's Billboard 2 Display, enabling operators to edit, schedule and serve media direct to the Billboard. Designed for content scheduling and management over a network, MediaPro optimises the functionality of the Billboard Display System. When running MediaPro, Billboards can display game results, scheduled promotions, live TV and revenue generating advertising. MediaPro is designed to make the scheduling of content on the Billboard Display as easy as possible, while its extensive features, coupled with its intuitive interface, are appropriate for applications large and small. Cammegh expects to have MediaPro ready for launch at ICE 2014.
