FOR GROWTH New team members and a host of product developments are driving innovation at TCSJohnHuxley
There's a huge amount of interest in the changes taking place within TCSJohnHuxley right now. Investment in new infrastructure and new people, especially the software development taking place within the 30-strong team in York, UK. In the US, Todd Cravens has recently been appointed CEO for the Americas to drive the business forward there, while Jared Mayberry has been appointed Lead Director of Product and Development based in Macau, to further strengthen business partnerships and drive innovation.
“We have created teams that are driving research and development. This new talent integrating with our existing team is powering and focusing our product direction going forward,” said Cath Burns, TCSJohnHuxley Group CEO. “We are listening to our customers and developing products and services for the expanding Asian market. This innovation also brings benefits to the wider global market.”
A continued focus on Asia Pacific and its extraordinary growth has resulted in an expansion to the teams there, with Macau now driving much of the future developments for TCSJohnHuxley. Customer partnerships are forming the central drive behind product developments that are themselves focused around the Xia gaming platform.
Xia is akin to owning a TCSJohnHuxley smartphone, with every other product offered by the company interconnected as Apps. Everything dovetails into Xia. Operators can pick the solutions they need and simply plug Xia into whichever product they select. An open platform solution, Xia will deliver the following applications: Supernova Progressive - floor wide bonusing, Gaming Floor Live – real time optimisation tools, e-FX Displays - messaging

communications system and a wide range of Generic and Proprietary Games. This core platform provides operators with the infrastructure for a full suite of live gaming systems and servicing solutions. The first roll out of the new Xia platform is taking placing in Macau consisting of a significant Gaming Floor Live installation.
Xia and GamingFloor Live are currently being installed in Macau across a huge number of tables with TCSJohnHuxley's baccarat displays, providing results and informing the operator of the speed of the game, enabling the casino to optimise its floor accordingly. "Through the development with significant groups we will be rolling this system out from Macau using the information that we learn there to benefit all our customers around the world," said TCSJohnHuxley's Tracy Cohen at the G2E 2013 show in Las Vegas.
We're not allowed right now to announce the operator or the number of tables connected to the system at present, but to say the number is huge is an understatement. While there are those presently confused as to the direction that TCSJohnHuxley is currently heading, the release of details of this installation will clarify in everyone's mind exactly the path that CEO Cath Burns has placed TCSJohnHuxley upon since she joined the company in 2011.
"We are developing products for the specific needs of individual customers and rolling out those systems at the global level," explained Tracy Cohen. "Macau, as the fastest growing gaming market, is the centre of our strategic product development. We've seen the success of SuperNova, which is now available across all table games and has been rolled out in South Africa in March across 50 tables (63 by the end of the year) to phenomenal success, with an extra 10,000 side bets wagered in one weekend speaking volumes for the acceptance by players of SuperNova."
TCSJohnHuxley see its newest innovations - Gaming Floor Live, Supernova Progressive and the Xia Platform - providing the company with the foundations to grow. “With one common platform, we are developing compelling applications that provide effective efficiency solutions and drive customers’ revenues,” said Todd Cravens, CEO for the Americas.
“Our focus is our customers, our products and our people. We already have strong relationships with many of our customers, but we are actively building these partnerships and constantly evolving to meet their business requirements to increase their bottom line. We’re committed to delivering innovative products and extraordinary service and we work on this every day.”
