The Official Launch Of House, Chester’s Newest Restaurant And Cocktail Lounge
House has opened its doors to welcome customers to the newest cafe-bar
restaurant and cocktail lounge in the heart of Chester. Guests were greeted by a glass of Laurent Perrier champagne after a red carpet entrance, before relaxing into the homely feel of the venue and tasting some of the food that is on offer
seven days a week. UK leading drinks supplier Mathew Clark offered provided guests with complimentary Bloom Gin summer cocktails with fresh strawberry’s served in the garden terrace enjoyed by all. Part owned by Natasha Hamilton’s husband Riad Erraji, House has a mantra of “our house is your house,” a message the director says is an important part of the welcome to the venue.

Elephants Te highly popular King’s Cup Elephant Polo tournament is celebrating its twelfth anniversary in the royal seaside town of Hua Hin, Tailand, from August 28th – September 1st 2013 and promises to have a tonne of ele-fun activities both on and off the field. Te four day festival has something for everyone, including a spectacular opening parade, celebrity matches, Chang Noi Day (Children’s Day) with a baby elephant camp and fun fair, and the event’s first Ladies Day, with prizes for the best dressed. A Moulin Rouge themed Auction Gala Dinner tops off fundraising efforts with all the proceeds donated to various projects for the betterment of Tailand’s elephants.
The Walton Centre’s Home from Home Appeal Chairty Golf Day
Southport’s Vincent Hotel has helped to raise more than £15,000 for charity. Te award-winning hotel held its fourth charity golf day at Royal Birkdale in aid of the Te Walton Centre’s Home from Home Appeal. Corporate clients of the Vincent Hotel enjoyed a day of golf followed by an evening drinks reception and dinner at the Warehouse Restaurant in Southport. Te winning team on the day was Scott Best and they took home the
much coveted Vincent trophy. Paul Adams, owner of Te Vincent Hotel, said: “It was a fantastic day for our customers and clients, which enabled us to raise funds for a very deserving cause. Charity is close to the hearts of
everyone at Te Vincent Hotel and we are delighted with the sum of money which has been raised. We are really grateful to all of our sponsors, clients and supporters who all gave so generously.” Paul May, Clinical Director of
Neurosurgery, Pain and Anaesthesia at the Walton Centre, added: “I would like to say a big thank you to Te Vincent Hotel for choosing us as their nominated charity for this event and to everyone who has supported us and
given so generously. I’m delighted that this money will go towards our Home from Home Appeal to provide much needed relatives’ accommodation.”
