Thornton Hall Rasul Experience

n our arrival at Tornton Hall Hotel and Spa we were greeted warmly by staff and taken to the ladies changing facilities and
given beautiful fluffy robes and slippers to wear in preparation for our treatment. Before our treatment we were afforded the opportunity to relax in the outdoor spa pool in the gorgeous British sunshine (for a change!), which gave us the chance to have a nice chat and settle into the glorious surroundings of Tornton Hall. Beside the spa pool there were sun loungers providing the option for guests to bask in the wonderful sunshine and relax. After leisurely relaxing in the spa pool we were greeted by our hostess Lorraine who guided us to the brand new and exclusive experience of Rasul designed and installed by luxury specialist manufacturers to the wellness industry, Rigo Spa. Te Rasul Cabin generously accommodates up to four people at one time and my guest and I were delighted to enjoy the ambience of the room all to ourselves. We began the Rasul Experience by entering into an exquisite tiled ante room with heated seating and covered ourselves with an unusual mix of nourishing mineral muds, pink for our hair and green for our bodies, to prepare for our 20 minute treatment. After we were lathered we entered the Rasul cabin and were introduced to a wonderful steam system combined with relaxing essential oil aromas, the feeling of the enriched mud deepened as the steam enveloped providing a real sense of Middle Eastern authenticity. As we relaxed in the
steamy environment we took time to chat and rub in the refreshing blends of mineral muds. After 20 minutes we enjoyed the gentle flow of the automated warm rain showers to wash the mud away while pastel colour changing lights enhanced our mood. After this relaxing treatment we were able to leave the chamber to wash away the rest of the mud from our hair with luxury Espa products. After our Rasul experience we were joined
again by our host Lorraine who took us to the spa to enjoy an hour long Espa full body massage which complemented the Rasul treatment brilliantly and revived our senses. Feeling invigorated from our treatments and with further 15 minutes in the relaxation room, we were given a lovely sorbet to whet our appetites for lunch which was served in the Times Brasserie. Te brasserie was a wonderful, casual and relaxing experience. Starters comprised of delicious mint and pea soup. To follow I opted for a chicken Caesar salad while my partner chose salmon fishcakes and a side order of homemade coleslaw. Tis was a truly delightful way to round up the day following our Rasul Experience.

11 It was clear from our visit that Tornton
Hall had so much to offer as we found ourselves wanting to stay a little longer with an option to enjoy the other amenities. Te brand new Rasul and ante room was designed and realised to deliver seamless indulgence by the specialist swimming pool and thermal cabin manufacturer, Rigo Spa who are based in Pall Mall in Liverpool, UK. Teir bespoke design and luxury finishes provided a fantastic ancient Middle Eastern experience of relaxation that we would strongly recommend.
