a refreshing dip unfortunately the outdoor pool is under maintenance. Happily your stay includes a complimentary pass at Nuffield Health, a five minute drive to a first-class health centre fully equipped with a fitness suite and spa facilities for all your wellbeing needs. When I arrived I was politely escorted to the
East Wing of the house to take up residence in the Snowshill suite, which includes an entrance lobby, double room with a king bed and a separate bathroom. Te rooms of the main
house still conform to the original dimensions of the country building and allow for a uniqueness that extends into the interior furnishings, with each room adopting is own personality. Every effort is made to create a homely feel with a splash of luxury. Greeted with a complimentary bottle of chilled champagne, well-presented canapés and a hand-written welcome note (a nice personal touch), I was tempted to wrap up in my dressing robe and absorb the peaceful rural vista in all its splendour.
