Offices will occupy around 600,000 sq ft up to the 28th floor of the prestigious landmark. Te space is now fit for purpose but currently lies empty, with occupants expected to arrive towards the end of the year. Investment banking firm Duff & Phelps recently became the first company to confirm their tenancy, after they exchanged contracts on around 20,000 sq ft of office space. International broadcasters Al Jazeera and energy firm South Hook LNG are strongly rumoured to soon be following suit, with other major firms expected to be announced in the coming months. retail units that open out on to the concourse of London Bridge Station, Te Shard also boasts 10 of the most exclusive residences in the country, with views unrivalled. Te properties are believed to be valued at anything between £30m and £50m. London Mayor Boris Johnson, who cut the


ribbon at the opening of Te View from Te Shard earlier this year, said: “I am confident that Te Shard and the huge London Bridge Quarter development will change the face of this important part of our city, attracting new businesses and creating thousands of jobs in the coming years.”
