News Industry Cementing brand reach and performance

TO ENHANCE THE development of its brand, Connecting Industry (part of Datateam Business Media’s portfolio of publications) has undergone an ABC audit of circu- lation, thus providing advertisers assurance of the brand’s reach and overall brand performance. Connecting Industry (CI) wanted to provide its clients and advertisers with the ability to make informed media buying decisions across more channels as media budgets

now span print, online, e-mail etc. With the Connecting Industry web- site having relaunched in last year, this also presented an ideal oppor- tunity to bring the various titles within the portfolio together under the brand in a more measured and harmonised way.

The new ABC multi-platform certificate (MPC) was used as it is ideally positioned to assist in the cross platform audit for the CI group of titles and provide

multi-channel reporting i.e. print, e-news, web marketing etc, which has allowed advertis- ers to buy their media across a variety of titles and channels. The MPC has allowed CI to cement their brand position within the industrial sector and has allowed the publishing team greater insight into their sub- scribers and confidence in the quality of their database. Datateam Business Media’s cir- culation manager, Alex Wetton, said, “As the only industrial pub- lishers to have invested into this fantastic multi-platform certificate we are delighted to be able to have the endorsement of the ABC as we continue to invest, market and promote our magazines, newslet- ters and website to the industrial sector. This offers unrivalled opportunities when discussing our customers’ requirements against that of our competitors.” To read to full story visit:

This spray has been switched off for the duration of the museum fit-out phase, allowing the ship to be air dried in a highly controlled, airtight environment within a hot box that’s enclosed by the museum’s new external envelope. In this new museum its hull will be dis- played behind glass windows, where visitors will be able to view the historic hull. As part of the fire safety strategy, horizontal evac- uation has been provided by open stairs, to allow simultaneous evacuation of the whole museum. An L1 automatic fire detection system designed around a Kentec 4-loop Addressable Fire Detection System is fitted throughout with the main structural frame having a 60 minute fire resistance. www.kentec.co.uk
