he Thermomark Line is the new printing system from Phoenix Contact to mark terminals, cables, conductors, as well as equipment. It comprises of two thermal transfer printers and a laptop on which the Clip Project marking software is installed. The Thermomark Card printer prints all plastic labels in both card and mat formats. The Thermomark Roll version processes labels and heat shrink tubing in specific formats or endless rolls.

It takes only 8 seconds to print each marking card. Both printers set themselves apart as a result of the simple operating concept. Plain text messages are output on the touch screen, which also accepts direct entries from the user. Large housing covers that can be opened on the sides make it easy to change the ink ribbon and insert the rolls of material. The marking material in the card and mat format is directly inserted through a loading slot that can be opened outward.


The integrated material detection avoids incorrect printing if the inserted material does not match the print data. This therefore reduces the usage of material as well as ink ribbon. The marking system can be quickly commissioned without any additional costs as the printer is simply connected to the laptop via a USB port.

Routing Pre-Assembled Cables through the Housing Wall T


he new CES cable entry system from Phoenix Contact allows pre-assembled cables to be routed into control cabinets in a safe and space-saving manner. The cut-outs and mounting dimensions of the CES system match the standard dimensions of heavy-duty plug connectors, which are installed in the control cabinet in a standard manner.


Up to 40 cables with IP 65 protection can be routed into the control cabinet through a standard


cut-out. The slotted sleeves are securely attached in half of the cable inlet frame. They can accommodate cables with diameters from 2 mm to 34 mm and simultaneously provide strain relief in compliance with the DIN EN 50262 standard. New multi-range cone sleeves minimize variance and increase flexibility.


Thanks to the CES system’s modular design and ease of use, individual cables can be quickly and conveniently added or replaced at any time. The CES mounting frames contain integrated seals and are available in screw or latch locking versions. Using a snap-on frame, the cable entry system can be simply snapped on without the need for any tools.

he new Heavycon EVO industrial plug-in connectors from Phoenix Contact are compliant with protection class IP 65 and feature uniform angled sleeve housings. The matching cable glands for clamp sizes M20 to M40 can be freely combined with any sleeve and base element in sizes B6, B10, B16, and B24.

Being able to combine the cable glands in both vertical and horizontal orientation on the same sleeve housing allows users to reduce the number of different housings required by 70 percent compared to aluminium housings.
