READER REPORTS EXECUTIVE PA MAGAZINE
Warmth shines through
Rendezvous Studio Hotel Sydney Central turns on plenty of charm with cocktails, canapés, a veritable heap of door prizes and all that jazz...
For the more than 40 guests who attended a boutique reader event at Rendezvous Studio Hotel Sydney Central, it was an evening of entertainment and fun hosted by general manager Ravi Satyavolu and director of sales and marketing Manoj Raveendranath. Representing Executive PA Magazine were general manager
James Brome and editor Louis Allen. As well as Singapore Sling cocktails to reflect the Rendezvous
chain’s origins, there was an abundance of food, a live jazz trio and a plethora of door prizes. Guests were given the opportunity to inspect the hotel’s
meeting venues, including accommodation rooms and its rooftop pool deck, which can be used for small events.
Here’s what our readers have to say... I had visited the hotel before it was taken over by
Rendezvous, and the renovation is money well spent. I was pleasantly surprised by the modern interiors and design. The reader event itself featured fantastic service and quality entertainment. Given the delicious canapés, I would be encouraged to eat at the restaurant. Most importantly, the staff members were amazing … it was one of the first events where I actually felt like I was a guest rather than just a number. Cherish Clarke of Record Point.
The vibe for the reader event was welcoming, while the staff
was fantastic and it was easy to talk to them. The furnishings are modern and sophisticated. Peter Maloney of CGU Workers’ Compensation (NSW).
It was a delight to attend the reader event. The event
space was beautifully decorated with orchid-themed floral arrangements and a jazz band. The wait staff was attentive and the canapés delicious. The property is ideal for the business traveller as it is opposite Central railway station and within walking distance of Chinatown, Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre and the CBD. The rooms are spacious with modern décor with complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi internet available, plus there is the added bonus of a rooftop pool with city skyline views and a small deck that can be used for events. The array of prizes included getaways in sister properties around Australia and gift bags. I must say we were very spoilt indeed! Ruth Kamina Kapea of Atlassian.
This was my first reader event and my colleague and I were
delighted to receive such a warm welcome from the Rendezvous team. I enjoyed the elegantly relaxed environment and was able to have a tour of the hotel, which is lovely.
Jane Clancy of NAB.
I think the property is lovely, and the staff was very polite. Brooke Clifford of Bankwest Business Finance.
The event was wonderful, not overcrowded, and we were
able to speak with the staff, who were open and approachable. The property is a good balance between practical and attractive, making it a realistic option for those on a tight budget. Malinda Davis of DFG Property.
