Desserts and decadence
A couple of Executive PA Magazine’s hosted buyers, Grace Bronowska (Melbourne) and Jade Allerby (Sydney), were lucky to score an invitation to a special evening for AIME delegates hosted by Accor at Sofi tel Melbourne. With a Parisian night-club theme it featured cabaret acts, a giant inverted Eiff el Tower, food stations and chefs, and even a dessert parade. And there was a chance for the girls to play fashion model, with professional hair and make-up, putting on fancy costumes to pose for photos.
Roaming the region
Executive PA Magazine editor Louis Allen was embedded in a group of Australian and international hosted buyers for a one-day AIME pre-tour of Yarra Valley and the Dandenong Ranges. When the group rolled into RACV Healesville Country Club,
they found a senior staff member posing as a guest enjoying his breakfast on a sun-laden deck overlooking rolling, tree- clad hills. After the site inspection the visitors had a breakfast buffet with food stations set up on a lawn and in a pergola. Next up was a visit to Healesville Sanctuary to meet some
Australian wildlife (there was a chance to feed the emus) and also look in on the Australian Wildlife Health Centre, where

an injured joey was being checked by the veterinary team, with live feed to a video screen. Lunch was at Rochford Wines, where workers were tidying
up around its sound shell from a concert the previous evening. The meal was preceded by a wine tasting. Most of the international visitors took the chance to have their photo taken by a helicopter before it whirled away. Winding up the day was a trip on the Puffing Billy railway,
but because of fire risk the steam train was replaced by a diesel locomotive.
