Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre is offering our Brisbane readers an exclusive back-of-house experience of the internationally awarded venue, which is home to about 1300 events every year. Currently Worldwide Convention Centre Team of the Year and
voted Australia’s Best Caterer on three separate occasions, BCEC has one of the busiest kitchens in Australia. Executive chef Martin Latter will be taking readers on a special
culinary journey – the chance to experience what it is like to be centre stage in the art theatre/auditorium, and learn about the magic of technical effects. With its new expansion, the convention centre is Australia’s
most-awarded meetings and events venue. It can cater for events of all sizes – business meetings, conferences, seminars, corporate events, gala dinners, cocktails, lunches, breakfasts, social events and special occasions. BCEC’s boutique spaces include intimate glamorous venues
such as the Sky Room & Terrace, which has views of the city skyline, or the Boulevard Room, a new ballroom or banquet space with private bar area and equipped with new-generation presentation technology. There are also two-tiered auditoria that are warm, intimate and luxurious. With a new entry on to South Bank’s cosmopolitan Grey Street,
the BCEC venues are at the epicentre of Brisbane’s restaurant and cultural scene.
