Active Adult Center Travel Day trips include destinations such as professional performances, concerts, sporting events, shopping trips, casinos, cultural tours and restaurant dining. Dial-A-Ride
Dial-A-Ride is a curb-to-curb shared ride service for Downers Grove Township residents aged 65 or older or who have a qualified disability. Service is provided within township and to Hinsdale Hospital from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. The fare is $5 for each one-way ride. Riders must be registered; reservations can be made one or two days in advance. Rides for medical appointments can be scheduled up to one week in advance. National Health and Fitness Day and Older Americans Month
Celebrate National Senior Health and Fitness Day and Older Americans Month at the Active Adult Center. The AAC will be having an open house on May 29. So bring a friend and enjoy a morning of light snacks, prizes and camaraderie.

Who — Me? Volunteer? Volunteers are vital to the Active Adults Center. Volunteerism is one of the easiest and best ways to become involved and the primary way many services are provided. Volunteers enjoy meeting new people, learning new skills, accomplishing projects and assisting behind the scenes with monthly parties and special events.
Rules of the Road Driving Exam Review

Trained volunteers are available to assist you in completing medical forms and evaluating your personal insurance needs.
