Golf Club Group Golf Outings
The Downers Grove Golf Club is the perfect place to hold your company or charity golf outing. The golf course holds over 30 outings a year and provides the best 9-hole course atmosphere around. The clubhouse can provide food or choose to bring your own. All beverages are provided by the Golf Club. Outings can be held 7 days a week. Stop in after your round or bucket and enjoy ice cold drinks and a selection of quick and simple menu items including hamburgers, hot dogs and a variety of snacks. You can also take in a view of the course from our 4,000 sq. ft. clubhouse and patio or watch your favorite sport on our two 42” televisions.

Check out the latest men’s and women’s apparel from Nike®, Under Armor®, Titleist®, Wilson® and Monterey Club™.The Pro Shop features apparel, gloves, balls, hats, tees and socks.
Gift Cards
The Downers Grove Golf Club offers gift cards for all activities, services and products offered at the course. Gift cards may be purchased in any amount during the golf season at the clubhouse, Lincoln Center and Recreation Center. Call 630.963.1308 for details.
Group Golf Lessons
Have you been looking to pick up the game of golf but feel you can use some pointers and advice? Group golf lessons are a great way to familiarize yourself with the game and get you comfortable enough to play some rounds of golf. Topics covered include grip, stance, swing, club selection, ball striking and basic etiquette and rules. Concepts covered include putting, irons, sand play and woods. Lessons can accommodate golfers of all levels and ability. Students must provide their own clubs and should bring a putter to the first class. Classes are taught by our two certified golf professionals, Tom Olms and Jim Festle. We encourage attendance at all classes as there are no make-up sessions.

Parent/Child Group Golf Lessons

Thinking about taking a golf lesson? Consider a lesson from our two certified golf professionals at the Downers Grove Golf Club. Learn the basics of grip, ball position, alignment and posture. Develop a consistent and trusted swing. Tom Olms and Jim Festle can help golfers of all ages and abilities to improve their game. Semi-private lessons provide golf instruction in a group setting. Women’s Only Golf School
Jim Festle and Tom Olms, our certified golf professionals, have designed a customized, women’s only, golf school to focus on different aspects of the game. Fee includes practice balls, golf tests, swing assessments, club fitting and practice drills.
