The class focuses on comprehensive strategies vital to established readers. Book Club features a chapter book and several short stories. Students will analyze and discuss the reading selections for the purpose of building critical thinking and comprehension skills. Participants receive a chapter book at the first class. Ready to bring your Poms routines to the next level? The Poms Skills programs provide dancers with challenging Hip Hop, Jazz and Contemporary inspired routines. Dancers will be expected to learn multiple routines, apply precision to their moves, and work with their team to create an energizing final Pep Rally. The squad will continue to learn how to safely execute new leaps, turns, kicks, splits, jumps and various tumbling tricks. No class July 3.

Want to get a taste of the world of Poms and Dance Teams? Try this jam- packed, high-energy camp. Dancers will learn safe and effective warm-ups, brush up on their jumps, turns and leaps, learn a fabulous dance routine and finish camp by performing for their parents. Students need to wear comfortable clothing and dance shoes if possible. Please bring a water bottle. Poms will be provided.
