Spring Intramural Golf Program
Both competitive and fun, students compete against other golfers from area schools. The first Friday is 1 hour of instruction from our two golf professionals on the driving range, and the last three meeting are 3 rounds of golf in a “scramble” format on the course.

Junior Golf Development Academy
This 10-week program is designed for the serious golfer looking to improve their game for high school competition and beyond. Develop your golf game, prepare for competition and better understand your golf swing. Junior golfers will receive a 30-large bucket driving range pass that is valid throughout the duration of the program. Participants will also receive 7 supervised rounds of golf with our professionals on Friday evenings from Friday June 14 through Friday August 2.

Aspiring competitive golfers are invited to join our junior golf league. Over 160 golfers participated in last summer’s league. Participants are paired in foursomes and compete against golfers of the same age; separate male and female divisions are created if registration warrants. Pairings and tee times are assigned before league play and remain constant for the season. Registration fee includes greens fees for the league season and awards. Registration deadline is Monday, June 11. Tee times go in order of age and ability. Participants must arrive 30 minutes early on the first day.

Back for its second year! Play the Downers Grove Golf Club and River Bend Golf Course in Lisle in this 18-hole tournament. Enjoy a continental breakfast and registration from 7:00 - 8:00 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. at Downers Grove Golf Club for the first nine holes. Then complete the second nine holes at River Bend Golf Club in Lisle with a shotgun start at 12:00 p.m. Golf cart rentals are not included in tournament fee. There are a limited number of gas carts available and they will be rented on a first-come, first-served basis. A BBQ cookout will be held in the tent following the tournament.

Annual Bob Nelson Junior Golf Amateur
The Bob Nelson Junior Golf Tournament, sponsored by the Downers Grove Squires Men’s Golf League, is a competative junior golf tournament in a relaxed atmosphere. This is a 9-hole stroke play with both boys and girls divisions. Registration fees include greens fees and lunch. Tee times begin at 12:00 noon and continue until all golfers have teed off. Tee times are assigned in order of age. Registration deadline is Monday, June 3. Call the clubhouse at 630.963.1306 on or after June 3 to receive your tee time. Golfers must be checked in and at the 1st tee 15 minutes prior to tee time. Rain date is Monday, August 19.
