The lean-to parts bin held brake wheels, brake shoes, and a variety of other small car parts, most of which can be easily mod- eled using spare parts from your scrap box.


I then glazed the window with clear styrene and glued it in place. The screen is cut from a section of fine brass screening of unknown origin that has been hanging around my scrapbox for decades. I dunked it in some gun barrel blackener and glued it in place. I simulated the boarded up window in the front wall with 1″×6″ stripwood stained and glued in place. In Dave’s drawings and photos, it appears that the window framing had been removed and the boards nailed right to the wall. Adding the trim board below the front window and the random stick on the right side completed wall construction. For the roof, I cut a piece of ¹₁₆″ sheet- wood with scribing the same size to the
