LAS VEGAS: City Profile
The city continues to build a reputation for urban sophistication, from trendy pool parties to uber-cool cocktail bars, but it has plenty of other surprises to get the adrenalin pumping. The choice ranges from sky-diving and dune buggies to aerobatic fl ights and Nascar racing. North America Travel Service has added a series
of soft-adventure excursions for 2013. “The add-on content includes the Grand Canyon, the Hoover Dam, Death Valley, Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park,” said Managing Director Ruby Briggs. “There are also a helicopter and fi xed-wing options to the west, north and south rims of the Grand Canyon, some including rafting or ranching.” UK tour operators will check out Las Vegas’
latest offerings in June when the city hosts Pow Wow, one of the world’s largest travel trade shows. The desert resort will also be organising a fam
trip for about 10 agents this summer. Places will be offered as prizes to agents completing the Las Vegas Virtuoso online training programme with Travel Uni.
