ess than six months remain to the opening of the Symposium, which is designed to be a multifunc- tional meeting place for
scientists to present and discuss their results, for scientists and persons in charge of civil and military prepared- ness plans to share information, and not the least for discussions between scientists and enterprises. The venue this time is Stockholm
Waterfront Congress Centre, in the heart of Stockholm, with easy access from airport shuttles, railway and busses, and also close to many recommended hotels. The offi cial opening will be on
Monday, June 3. All participants are welcome to the Get-together party on Sunday evening, and register at the same time. On Monday morning, the registration opens at 08.00 hrs.
SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME The following sessions will be covered by the symposium: Emerging threats and risks, CBRN crisis management at national and international levels, Detection, identifi cation and monitoring of chemical and biological agents, Medical Management, Physical protection, Disarmament and non-proliferation, and Commercial developing techniques. The

www.foi.se/cbwsymp2013. The scientifi c programme will run in three parallel sessions most of the time. Each morning and aſt ernoon session will start with a keynote lecture, with connection to at least one of the following sessions. We are proud to present some prominent plenary speakers such as Mitchell Stern from the FBI WMD Directorate, Christopher Green from the UK Defence Science and Technology Laboratory at Porton Down, Paul Keim at the Center for Microbial Genetics and Genomics at the Northern Arizona University, and Raymond Zilinskas at the Monterey Institute for Internation- al Studies. A poster session is scheduled for
Tuesday aſt ernoon. In order to display the posters as much as possible they will be on display all through the Sym- posium.
EXHIBITION
The 11th Exhibition of CBW Defence Equipment is a melting-pot for exhibitors within the CBRN-area. The exhibition area is already well-fi lled, but do not hesitate to contact CBWXI.
