Vending Machines Vending machines offering beverages and snacks are located outside the cafeteria, near the emergency department entrance, in the family waiting areas on the nursing units, and inside the center and south front entrances of the Alexian Brothers Women & Children’s Hospital. Tey are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Pastoral Care Te Chaplain can contact your local pastor, rabbi or clergy person for you, if requested. Te Sacrament of the Sick as well as Holy Communion are provided whenever possible for our Roman Catholic patients and may be requested through the chaplain or the information desk at extension 6278. Protestant patients may also make a request for communion. A chapel, open to all faiths, is located on the first floor, west of the main hospital lobby. Mass is celebrated in the chapel Monday through Friday at 11:30 a.m. Patients may follow the Mass by tuning the television in their room to channel 29. Our multifaith meditation room is located in a quiet area near the chapel.
