DA CAPO COLLECTION KÄHRS


Kährs have introduced a stunning new collection of authentically aged wood floors to its Supreme Range. Crafted from sustainable rustic oak, the new Da Capo Collection includes six rugged one-strip oak floors. Each design is brushed, handscraped, bevelled and smoked to achieve a distinct vintage look, whilst different tones of nature oil prefinish give a spectrum of shades.


With features including cracks, knots, gnarls and pegs, the Da Capo range combines a robust, antique look with the performance and easy care benefits of a modern construction. All boards measure 1,900mm x 190mm x 15mm and feature an eco-friendly multi- layered construction, which uses hardwood down to the joint only, with fast-growing timber below. This design, alongside Kährs glueless Woodloc® joint, provides 75% greater stability than a solid floor and eliminates gapping and promotes fast installation.


All floors are offered with a 30-year guarantee and can be laid on most dry, level surfaces including concrete, wood and particle board and can be installed either floating, or glued down. All Kährs floors are also ideal for installation over underfloor heating.

THE DECORA QUARTZ RANGE RSL


RSL recently introduced an innovative new range of decorative resin quartz screeds. The Decora range of products provide the hard wearing functionality and performance of traditional resin flooring systems with an attractive, decorative finish. RSL believe that while a floor contributes to the overall atmosphere and aesthetic visuals of an area, it does sometimes require functionality to come before looks, especially in high demanding, working environments, so this new range enables customers to have an eye-catching floor without compromising on benefits.


The first two products to be launched within the The Decora Quartz range are Decora MS; a decorative trowel applied, epoxy resin mortar screed which incorporates multi-coloured aggregates and provides a hard wearing and attractive surface and Decora BC; a multi-component decorative broadcast system which utilises decorative coloured aggregates are bound into a resin binder. Both of these products provide a seamless hard wearing surface with a gloss finish as standard, with a matt finish also available. The Decora range also has properties such as anti-slip, chemical and impact resistance.
