POLYX®-OIL 2K PURE OSMO UK
Osmo UK’s two-part hardwax oil, Polyx-Oil 2K Pure, is the ideal wood finishing solution for professional use, providing more robust protection to high-footfall areas without compromising the appearance and beauty of the wood.
Solvent and water-free, the product is ideal for professional fitters and suitable for all parquet and solid wood floor. Comprising of vegetable oils, waxes and additional water repellent additives, it allows for greater protection of the wood and increased resistance against spillages.
The solution is available in clear and satin-matt, is fast- drying and can be walked upon after only four hours, with full resilience after 24 hours. This makes it ideal for use in the commercial environment where downtime is limited. Application is simple, by mixing the two component ingredients, the solution can be spread over the entire flooring, and left to penetrate the surface for 30-60 minutes. The product can then be massaged into the wood’s surface. Where untreated wood is used, a second coat can be immediately applied.
Polyx-Oil 2K Pure is the ideal product for high-traffic areas, due to its much tougher and hard-wearing results, where regular waxes wouldn’t provide an adequate long-term solution.

PW10 RISING DAMP PROTECTOR
FILA
Surface-care specialist, Fila has introduced a new rising damp protector to its maintenance range. The Fila PW10 is a water-based solution designed for the professional treatment of absorbent materials, including stone and terracotta. Like all Fila products, it provides high performance protection without altering appearance or forming a surface film.
Applied to the back of tiles before installation, PW10 permanently stops salts, tannin and metals from rising through the substrate to the tile surface, whilst allowing the material to breathe. This prevents the formulation of unwanted streaks and stains. It is suitable for natural stone, granite, marble, agglomerates, terracotta and other absorbent materials. Tensile adhesion testing, carried out by The Ceramics Centre in Bologna (in compliance with UNI EN 1348-200) confirm the product’s suitability for application to the back of tiles, without compromising the adhesion properties of glue and grout. PW10 also has low VOC emissions.
