L3 GOLD MOISTURE CONTROL SYSTEM

UZIN

UZIN L3 Gold Moisture Control System is a unique damp- proofing system for in areas where moisture in the substrate is a problem, up to 90% RH. With this innovative system, flooring contractors no longer have to apply a damp-proof membrane to the floor, then prime and then install the levelling compound. With this simple system, fitters just have to prime the floor and then mix and apply the bag and bottle levelling compound. The floor is then protected against moisture from the substrate and ready to receive the floor covering. UZIN L3 Gold provides an exceptionally smooth finish, has a high compressive strength of 25 N and is easy to sand down. It is a remarkably quick and easy-to-use system; the primer dries within one hour and the levelling compound is ready to accept most floorcoverings within two. This means that the whole damp-proofing process takes less than four hours, saving time, money and labour.

Due to regulation concerning duty of care and allergies to latex, the system is also ideal for use in sensitive environments such as schools and hospitals because the UZIN L3 Gold products are ammonia and latex free.

LIBERATOR 250TP 110V GRINDER

THE PREPARATION GROUP

The Preparation Group’s Liberator 250TP 110v Grinder has been developed to suit standard site power and therefore eradicates the need to hire a generator normally associated with the use of three phase models. In addition, with its twin motor configuration, the new grinder generates twice the torque of a standard 110v machine.

The Liberator 250TP is capable of production rates from 30–50m2

per hour, is simple to operate and is

compact. In addition to grinding and smoothing hard surfaces, it also removes latex and paint and is ideal for polishing terrazzo, stone and concrete. The new machine also fits the company’s standard range of 250 accessories; grinding discs and the new PCD grinding plate for removing adhesives, levelling compounds and other sticky substances. Tracey Glew, Group Managing Director, said: “Historically, 110v machines of this size have lacked the power required to effectively grind and smooth hard surfaces such as concrete and stone and, with two 2.2kw motors driving the grinding disc, this machine solves all that.”
