PD15 FILA
Surface-care specialist, Fila, has introduced a second new protector to its maintenance range – Fila PD15. The new high performance product is developed for the treatment of ‘lappato’ or semi-polished porcelain tiles. It provides permanent protection against stains and dirt, without altering the distinct finish or forming a surface film.
Established in 1943, Fila is a global, eco-focused company that specialises in surface care products for marble, natural stone, porcelain, terracotta and wood. Their PD15’s deep penetrating formula protects lappato porcelain against heavy foot traffic, oil, water- based stains and also restores sheen. It is designed for optimum coverage; one litre treats 70m² and re-application is not required. As well as treating continuous surfaces, PD15 can also be used to treat individual accent tiles.

POLYSAFE MODENA PUR POLYFLOR
Polyflor’s Polysafe Modena PUR features a high-clarity, micro-granite appearance across 14 different shades and is available with the manufacturer’s groundbreaking Polysafe PUR (polyurethane reinforcement).
The development of Polysafe Modena PUR follows increased demand for high quality designs with built- in safety, containing safety particles that are virtually invisible and do not detract from the good looks demanded in the more showcase areas of a facility. The inclusion of clear aluminium oxide within the vinyl ensures that Polysafe Modena PUR is fully compliant with the HSE and UK Slip Resistance Group Guidelines, achieving 36+ in the Pendulum wet test and a surface roughness of 20 microns and above, thereby achieving a low slip potential.
Polysafe Modena PUR fully meets the requirements of EN 13845, the European Standard for safety flooring and achieves a BRE Global Generic A+ environmental rating. It is also suitable for recycling through the Recofloor Vinyl take back scheme. Since its launch, Polysafe Modena PUR has proved to be hugely popular in the market place with installations already having taken place in hospitals and schools.
