MAPEPROOF ONE COAT MAPEI

Mapei chose 2012 to launch Mapeproof One Coat. True to its name, the single coat product joins well known industry favourites Mapeproof ESM and Mapeproof 1K Turbo to provide a trio of damp-proof membranes for all possible requirements.

Available in 7kg units consisting of Part A 4.2kg and Part B 2.8kg, Mapeproof One Coat is a two-component, black, single-coat epoxy surface damp proof membrane for controlling residual and constructional moisture in cementitious substrates. Mapeproof One Coat cures by mixing the two-components together before applying to the prepared and surface dry sub-floor. It is ideal for use on cementitious sub-floors, with relative humidity moisture levels above 75% RH (BS8203) and below 97% RH prior to the installation of resilient floor coverings.

Mapeproof One Coat can be applied by trowel or roller over power floated concrete sub floors and sand:cement screeds that incorporate an effective structural damp- proof membrance, to control residual or constructional moisture. It is also suitable over underfloor heating systems, except wooden floor installations.

THE MAX REFLECTIONS RANGE

Untitled-2.indd 1 FLOORWISE

The Max Reflections range from Floorwise includes mirror-like Chrome, Brass, Black Nickel and Brushed Steel Nickel finishes to perfectly match light switches, electrical sockets, door handles and light fittings throughout new housing developments and other commercial installations.

With single edge, dual edge, Z edge and cover strip profiles available, the range has been engineered to provide maximum performance and aesthetic durability. Richard Bailey, Managing Director of Floorwise, commented: “Increasingly, clients and housebuilders want a coordinated look, particularly in contemporary builds and luxury apartments, choosing to match light fixtures, switches, handles and sockets. However, finishing the floor had always been something of a compromise with door bars and profiles only available in a less than perfect match, or at best in hugely expensive raw metals such as brass. The Max Reflections range gives the chance for contractors and fitters to coordinate interiors to perfection without having to resort to very expensive brass and chrome-plated brass profiles.”
