UZIN NC 160 Special Edition is a levelling compound designed to create a smooth finish to a substrate before the installation of a floor covering. Legislations such as Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) aim to improve the safety of products and create a healthy work environment. Therefore, UZIN NC 160 Special Edition has been created and has been awarded an EC1-R-Plus® classification for being very low emission, providing the most ecological approach for flooring installations.
In the flooring industry, there is also concern over flooring contractors having to lift and move heavy bags of levelling compounds. In response to these health and safety measures, UZIN NC 160 Special Edition was developed to be sold in 20kg bags to make the transportation of levelling compounds easier and safer. Despite reducing the weight of the bag, UZIN NC 160 Special Edition offers fantastic coverage, similar to larger size bags, approximately 5m² at 3mm. UZIN NC 160 Special Edition also meets environmental requirements such as BREEAM, providing excellent indoor air quality and no physiological or ecological risk.
