New beginning for holistic practitioner


Qualified holistic practitioner Sandy Sanghera, who retrained after being made redundant from accountancy, has opened her holistic therapy suite at St John’s Hotel in Solihull,West Midlands.


Sandy’s Holistic Therapy@St John’s Hotel complements the hotel’s existing leisure facilities, offering deep tissue massage, reflexology, aromatherapy and a relaxation massage.


“I’ve always had an interest in the benefits of massage and when the opportunity came to retrain, I knew I had to do it,” she says. “I am absolutely thrilled that St John’s Hotel has asked me to launch the therapy suite and I’m looking forward to helping guests and locals relax and unwind.”

Golfing Spa treats for charity


Yon-Ka acted as official sponsor of the Spa Tent run by make-up artist Louise Page at this year’s British Par 3 Championship held in Coventry.


All funds raised from the four-day golfing event, which attracted a number of celebrity players, were donated to The Rainbows Hospice for Children andYoung People.

Creation of the marquee logo in 2011 follows research that 67%of those asked wanted a seal of approval that products were made here.


Lauren’sWay will be rolling out the logo on their new professional size bottles and minis soon and the rest of the tanning range will follow. Over 600 manufacturers to date have signed up to the logo, which has the backing from a number of prominentMPs including EdMiliband.
