DAY 1 Arrive in Cape Town Transfer to the Portswood Hotel located in the V&A Waterfront for a three-night stay.
DAY 2 Excursion to Cape Point
Embark on a scenic coastal drive to the fishing village of Hout Bay, then to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve where the dramatic sea cliffs of Cape Point provide a stunning attraction. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant followed by an afternoon visit to the penguin colony at Boulder’s Beach. Return to Cape Town in the late afternoon. This evening is at leisure.
DAY 3 Stellenbosch and the Wine Lands
Visit the house of J.C. Le Roux, nestled in the picturesque Devon Valley, for a tasting of its famous nougat and exquisite Cap Classique and sparkling wines. Later continue into nearby Stellenbosch, a university town known for its oak trees and Cape Dutch-style architecture, notably along Dorp Street. After a tour, enjoy lunch at a local
Table Mountain and Lion’s Head, Cape Town
restaurant. Return to Cape Town in the late afternoon. This evening is at leisure.
DAY 4 Table Mountain and Cape Town
Scale the city’s most celebrated landmark, Table Mountain. You’ll travel up Kloof Nek, the saddle between Table Mountain and Lion’s Head, to the Lower Cableway Station. Ascend to the Mountain Station (1,060m) by cable car whose floor rotates 360 degrees for spectacular views. Later, embark on a city tour of Cape Town. Highlights include a drive past the Castle of Good Hope, the Company Gardens, the Parliament Buildings, the City Hall and the Cape Malay Quarter. Transfer to Queen Mary 2.
