THE WII U’S GamePad is an impressive bit of kit. The new console’s controller comes with a large touch pad screen, speakers and a camera. This means it’s most likely going to be expensive and that means consumers need to take extra precautions when it comes to protecting the new device. Hence why PDP is releasing a whole selection of GamePad protecting goodies for any excited Wii U consumers. First is the GamePad Faceplate, which protects the back of the GamePad with a decorative hard shell. The faceplate molds to the controller and uses soft EVA material that creates a double cushion for additional protection.

It comes in three designs: one sky blue plate with Mario jumping for coins, another stylish pattern for retro fans and a black patterned case with Mario punching a brick. The touch screen also gets additional protection with the Write and Protect pack. Included in the pack is a microfiber cloth for cleaning the screen and stick-on screen protectors to stop scratches and ensure constant protection. It also includes two stylus pens for those who wish to draw with the GamePad.

The Wii U Rainbow Stylus Pack contains eight colourful styluses to use on the GamePad’s touch screen. Finally, a selection of Silicone Skins can wrap around the whole controller to offer protection and extra grip during gameplay. The silicone slip comes in pink, blue, black and white.
