Randy’s Georgia Baked Beans Contributed by Randy Williams CEC’S Holiday Collections Cookbook


INGREDIENTS  6 slices maple bacon, chopped 1 finely chopped onion 1 T Worcestershire sauce


 2 T. ketchup 1 c. sugar


1/2 c. brown sugar


DIRECTIONS Sauté bacon and onion over medium heat. Let brown. Add pork and beans and cook on low heat. Gradually add Worcestershire sauce, mustard and ketchup and sugar. Cook for 20 to 25 minutes and let boil until sugars are caramelized. Reduce to low heat and cook additional 10 minutes. Beans will be sweet.

INGREDIENTS 3 c. vanilla non-fat frozen yogurt 1 c reduced fat milk ½ c. frozen grape juice concentrate, thawed 1 ½ tsp. lemon juice


DIRECTIONS Place yogurt, milk, grape juice concentrate and lemon juice in a blender. Process until smooth. Serve immediately. Makes eight half-cup servings.
