Mountain towns will celebrate the world’s highest cycling event with special activities for everyone—on two wheels or four.

The USA Pro Cycling Challenge (USAPCC) races into Colorado in August, and it’s not just a fantastic opportunity to experience world-class cycling up close. With seven stages hosted by 12 of Colorado’s most scenic, distinctive cities, USAPCC brings the chance to combine a classic Colorado getaway with a premier sporting event. The host cities are ready to show off their best, and each has a peloton (large group)
of special events planned. To help choose where to dip into the festivities, the following lists each host city’s race dates, other timely events and a sampling of its fi nest tourist delights. Hop on!
