Cube freestanding bath from from Silverdale Bathrooms
Introducing Cube, one of four stylish new freestanding bath models from Silverdale Bathrooms. Designed to complement the Silverdale range of Contemporary UK manufactured pottery, the four designs are all formed in luxury 5mm double skinned white Lucite acrylic. Each bath is a seamless design that comes complete with chrome clicker bath waste and fitted with overflow and a flexible hose to aid installation. They are also supplied with a rigid steel frame and leg set that includes a steel securing eyelet to ensure complete stability even in the toughest of commercial environments.
VitrA – free standing baths
VitrA’s Darren Paxford says that free standing baths are very much in the eye of contemporary designers where the mid to upper end of the market allows for more space in the bathroom. VitrA say that their free standing bath designs from the 4 Life Collection are enjoying enormous success and increasing popularity. In line with using leading international designers, 4 Life baths have been designed by NOA Design in Germany and are crafted as much for their visual flowing lines as they are for comfort, luxury and special ergonomics.
VitrA’s Cocoon design is an oval with a wide rim, deep vertical external sides descending to an inset plinth and smooth internal surfaces allowing total immersion luxury. Cleverly, Cocoon has been made available with a range of mounting adapters that allows the choice of positioning against a wall or even in the corner of the bathroom. A solid, exotic water-resistant and non-slip wooden step allows easy access and the taps or mixers can be floor or wall adaptor mounted.

Cube is just 170cm in length, the same as any standard UK bath but with a broader width of 80cm and soaking height of 57cm it will become a truly heavenly addition to the luxury bathroom. Cabrits from Victoria + Albert baths – a revolution in bathing ergonomics
Victoria + Albert’s freestanding Cabrits bath introduces a double dip design to provide a revolutionary bathing experience. With contours mirroring the volcanoes of the Caribbean National Park of the same name, Cabrits’ ergonomic form is shaped to fit the body.
