appoints new National Sales Manager


Wetroom specialist Impey Showers has appointed John Gill as the company’s new National Sales Manager.


With over seven years of experience in the bathroom industry behind him, combined with six years in the tiling industry, John is a perfect fit for Impey’s National Sales Manager role. Gill’s last position was at Heritage Bathrooms where he was head of sales, a talent that clearly comes naturally to him.


Scotland welcomes KBSA at successful regional meeting T


he KBSA held a well-attended regional meeting in Scotland that was hosted by corporate member Carron Phoenix. A mixture of retail and corporate members travelled, in some cases significant distances to hear presentations from Carron Phoenix on the changing face of the sink market, KBSA supplier Bartlett’s on the current insurance offer and an update on activities from the KBSA. “Turnout for the Scottish meetings has traditionally been very good and this meeting was no exception,” said KBSA CEO Graham Ball. “We included some interactive discussions as well as presentations which were well received and the feedback from those that attended was extremely positive.”


KBSA national chairman Martin Thomas, who has an Aberdeen based bathroom and kitchen showroom, also led a discussion on ‘Securing the Order’ and Barclaycard took questions on the latest KBSA offer.


AN IMPORTANT DATE FOR YOUR DIARY- KBSA AGM 11th SEPTEMBER


The KBSA has announced that this year’s AGM will take place on 11th September at the same venue as last year, The Billesley Manor Hotel in Alvechurch, Warwickshire.


The AGM will repeat last year’s successful format that incorporated a number of presentations from respected industry speakers and a networking dinner afterwards. Members will also have the opportunity to attend the 2012 Kbbreview Kitchen Conference, which will once again be held on the following day, 12th September at the Heritage Motor Centre in Warwickshire.


KBSA CEO Graham Ball says: “We are delighted to be able to offer the same winning format again. We have listened to members’ feedback and know that this event is welcomed as an important networking opportunity.


“We’d encourage everyone to mark the date in their diary and we will issue further details of speakers and timings in due course.”

Bosch and Methven Back UK Water Efficiency Awards 2012


Bosch and Methven UK have joined forces to back the UK Water Efficiency Awards 2012 run by Waterwise and the Environment Agency to celebrate the achievements of public, private and third sector organisations in making the UK more water efficient.
