Textures, the third dimension
Today texture, the third dimension of design, plays an integral part in surface creation and in the new Axiom range. Moving away from flat surfaces, two new premium textures have been introduced. A lightly chiselled, yet smooth finish, Scovato, meaning 'to unearth or discover" gives the worktop a sense of dimension and brings fullness to the kitchen workspace. Offered in five different decors, Scovato is presented on plain colours Diamond Black or White to show its full beauty. As well, exclusive to Axiom® by Formica Group Steel Materia with Scovato finish mimics a distressed metallic for that vintage look so popular today.
One of the most exciting additions to the range, Axiom® True Scale captures the beauty of natural materials without the repetition of pattern found in traditional laminates. Mirroring the characteristics of natural stones, woods and granites each individual worktop will show true scale characteristics just as in
nature. Black Sequoia and Slate Sequoia of the True Scale range are finished in Scovato texture for a natural earthy feel.
Puregrain texture is another new addition to the range. This timeless, lightly brushed natural timber finish fits perfectly in an idyllic country or classic kitchen setting. Available in four oak designs - Shadow Oak, Scarlet Oak, Swedish Oak and Sauvignon Oak; wood grains answer one of the most important trends on the market; rustic and simple.
