EMKA announces the Reell deal

EMKA UK has announced that its previously disclosed co-operation with Reell Precision Manufacturing Inc has continued to develop in the UK and that it is now in a position to supply standard catalogue products from Reell’s range.

R

eell Precision Manufacturing, as well as having innovative design capabilities, is able to create industrial hinges and small package torque solutions that help transmit torque, control angular position and protect delicate components

from excessive force. Standard products available from EMKA come from the positioning hinges ranges which are ideally suited to enclosure doors, equipment access panels, laptop screen positioning, kiosks, office furniture and much more. “In many cases Reell hinges offer a direct market equivalent

as a drop in 1:1 replacement for competitive units presently available - and Reell’s background as global design leaders in this technology supports its long standing reputation for superior performance on durability and smoothness while still achieving very competitive pricing.”

Elesa handles the lot

Standard component specialist Elesa says that it is proud of its sixty plus range of handles for manual machine operation.

S

uch handles vary from small knurled knobs for instrument adjustment, to ball end knobs and cylindrical handles for lever arms or actuating levers and for clamping functions. Each family is available in many sizes to match all kinds

of industrial, manufacturing and instrumentation requirement. They are particularly suitable for applications on fitness

machines, tools and machines for gardening and goods transport, high-precision instruments and disability aids. Elesa’s fixed and revolving handles are offered in a variety

of tough materials resistant to the many solvents and cleaning materials encountered in machine environments such as production floor, disability equipment or agricultural operations. Typically, handles are manufactured in polyamide based technopolymer or high resilience polypropylene based technopolymer (for greater comfort). Handles can also be manufactured in phenolic based Duroplast and mirror polished aluminium. Lever arms are chrome plated steel with Duroplast knobs or handles.
