adds carton closing tools
Senco is adding eight brand new manual and pneumatic carton closing tools to its broad product range. Available in manual and pneumatic versions, carton closing staples ranging from 15mm to 22mm, with crown sizes of 32mm or 35mm can be driven. The durable and hard-wearing steel magazine of the Senco carton closers can hold up to 120 carton closing staples.
D
iem Kemper, product development manager comments: “Senco already has an extensive product range, but there was still room for expansion in the packaging industry. Now we also offer a wide range of carton closing tools for the packaging industry.”
The tools have a lightweight, durable and compact body which, in combination with
the high capacity and quick load magazine, ensure ergonomic use. The tools are also featured with a tool-less depth of drive for precision depth adjustment, and a staple clinch adjustment for tight and loosing clinching of packaging material. With the addition of the carton closing staplers, Senco will also extend its already
broad fastener range. Two new staple types, U-type and 1-type, will be introduced to cover all the applications in the packaging industry. The U-type staple features a 32mm crown, and the 1-type staple features a 35mm. Both new staple types are available in lengths from 15mm – 18mm and 22mm. “With the introduction of these carton closing tools, Senco
again shows to be the perfect partner in power fastening for every industry”, adds Diem Kemper.

screwdrivers
Norbar states that an important development in torque tools has taken place with the launch of its innovative range of TruTorque™ torque screwdrivers.
‘slip action’ occurs only when the required torque level has been reached, avoiding over-tightening; and all screwdrivers are supplied with ¼ inch hexagon bit holder using a 4mm hexagon stem. Philip Brodey, director of Norbar, comments:
“The new screwdrivers are an invaluable addition to our TruTorque™ range. Accurate, robust and reliable, they expand the potential of applying torque measurement principles to the most precise and delicate applications.”
Norbar TruCheck™ Screwdriver Testers Norbar has also introduced three new
products specifically designed to calibrate torque screwdrivers, applicable to both its own products and those of other manufacturers. Accurate to +/- 1% of reading, Norbar TruCheck™ Screwdriver Testers allow operators to perform quick and simple calibration checks from easy-to-read LED displays without the need to call on third party calibration services, saving both time and expense.
