Charlie Bisby took up a franchise opportunity with ventilation manufacturer, EnviroVent, last year. He now runs a successful business in Cornwall and Devon

Preston-based Charlie wanted to relocate to Bude with his family. Having seen the success of EnviroVent he jumped at the chance to take the franchise in Cornwall and Devon.

Established in 1997 EnviroVent designs,
harlie Bisby worked as a construction director for ventilation manufacturer, EnviroVent, but decided to take up one of the company’s franchise opportunities last year.

manufactures and also installs an innovative range of domestic ventilation solutions that include extract fans, heat-recovery systems (MVHR), and Positive Input Ventilation units (PIV).
PIV is a technique that works by delivering
fresh, fi ltered and clean air into the home, gently ventilating it. This method dilutes high humidity levels and by doing so reduces the dust-mite population, which is good news for asthma and allergy sufferers. It also helps to gently force contaminated air out of the property and by reducing high humidity levels the systems are combating problems of condensation and mould. Since winning the Queen’s Award for innovation, EnviroVent has continued to develop energy-effi cient products to add to its exisiting portfolio; these include energiVent FLOW, a whole-house heat-recovery system, and the RetroVent, an innovative through-the- wall heat-recovery unit.
