unny and welcoming Sacramento, California, home of the National President, hosted the Home- coming of Gwen Rankin. With nearly 400 attendees from around the country, National President Rankin kicked off her year with hula dancing, a reveal of the revamped Ladies Auxiliary VFW emblem and donations to two worthy causes. From the airport transportation to the hotel decorations, their team created a fun and friendly event for everyone. At the Surf’s Up Party on Friday, hula dancers performed several versions of the Hawaiian dance. National President Rankin is originally from Hawaii and is an accomplished hula dancer herself. She joined the dancers for a few numbers and then
