CANCER AID & RESEARCH Could Make Millions


“We can harness the power of our members, all 520,000 of us. If all of our members participated in a 7-7-7 Campaign – what a difference that would make.” All Department Cancer Aid &


Research Program Chairmen will be provided with a script for phone calls, a pledge card format, a tally sheet for tracking donations and an acknowledgment letter for donors.


The official campaign kickoff week is scheduled for March 19-25, but Auxiliaries are encouraged to plan a campaign at any time during the year. Just pick a week, and give each member a copy of the script and the tally sheet.


The 7-7-7 Campaign manual can be downloaded from the Ladies Auxiliary website under Programs, then Cancer Aid & Research, at www.ladiesauxvfw.org/ programs/cancer.html. “We may be aiming for $3 million, but can we surpass that?
