Ontario raises an icy toast in celebration
ONTARIO is targeting wine-lovers with its Ice Wine Festival held at 30 wineries in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Ice wine is wine made with grapes
picked when they are frozen and for 10 days in January (13-29), the Niagara region celebrates the picking of the icy grapes with tours and events. Guided tours explain how the grapes,
are turned into 100 wine varietals.
