Incumbent Trustees Seek Re-Election p. 3

Members Elect Representatives at District Meetings

Electing representation to the board of trustees is both a privilege and a responsibility of being a coop- erative member-owner. Member-owners in districts 1, 3, and 5 will be electing trustees at their district meetings in Novem- ber.

Registration for all meetings will be from 6 to 7 p.m., when the busi- ness sessions begin.

Members who are the official vot- ing delegates for organizations such as churches, will need to submit a completed organization certificate, which can be found on page 2 of this issue.

The certificate needs to be sub- mitted at the time of registration. If you don’t know what district you live in, you can look on your monthly electric bill, or visit our Web site at www.vvec.com. Click on the ‘About VVEC’ tab, then scroll down to the ‘Map’ tab. VVEC trustees are co-op mem- bers just like you. Running for the board, and selecting trustees are just two of the advantages of owning your electric cooperative. Exercise the privilege of co-op ownership by attending your district meeting and voting for your repre- sentative.
