communities we serve is part of our cooperative’s mission and one of our primary values. We’re looking out for you, our members. Every year, Tri-County Electric sets aside some funds to go

back to the community. One way to show that is through financial support to area schools, civic organizations, emergency services and nonprofit or other charitable community organizations. Schools allocate the money they receive for FFA, yearbook ads,

sports programs, calendars, newsletters and other special programs. Emergency services might use the funds to purchase water or buy equipment. Above all, the funds benefit our communities. In addition to funds, the cooperative’s employees often

give their time to the communities they live in. We employ volunteer firefighters and emergency medical technicians. Many of our employees belong to local Lions, Rotary or other clubs. We volunteer to give demonstrations and presentations to those various groups as well. We also make an effort to attend community events like

fairs or celebrations. This summer, we had a bucket truck at the Cause to Cruise Truck Roundup and we gave away ice cream at the Summer Celebration, both in Guymon. We also had booths at the Texas, Beaver and Cimarron County fairs in Oklahoma and at the Morton County, Kansas, fair.
