Buying test andmeasurement equipment just got easier nowthat high-service electronics distributors, including Allied Electronics, Mouser Electronics and Newark/element14, are beefing up their test andmeasurement offerings. TTI also earned two supplier awards fromNational Instruments.

New franchise agreements
The TektronixMDO4000 oscilloscope is the industry's first with an integrated spectrumanalyzer
Keithley Instruments recently named Newark/element14 as its first North American high-service distributor. Under the franchise agreement, the Chicago, Ill.-based distributor canmarket Keithley's instruments, data acquisition products and complete systemsolutions for high-volume production and assembly testing. These include SourceMeter instruments, digitalmultimeters and switching hardware.
Keithley productswill be available for same-day shipping at
Newark/element14, andwill include integrated systems solutions and instruments, and PC plug-in boards that can be used as system components or stand-alone solutions inmanufacturing, product development and research applications.
LeCroy Corp. inked an international distribution agreementwith
Mouser Electronics. UnderMouser's distribution agreementwith LeCroy, theMansfield, Texas-based distributorwillmake LeCroy's oscilloscopes, arbitrary function generators and logic analyzers available to production equipment buyers and electronic design engineers in nearly all parts of the
globe.Mouser alsowill expand its support network for LeCroy products.

Global distributor TTI Inc., FortWorth, Tex., recently earned two global awards -- Best in Class Supplier and Scorecard Performance for On-Time Delivery -- fromNational Instruments.

Both Allied Electronics and Newark/element14 now stock the new TektronixMDO4000 series, touted as the industry's first oscilloscope with a built-in spectrumanalyzer.
The TektronixMDO4000 series enables
engineers to capture time-correlated analog, digital and RF signals simultaneously for a complete systemview,
helping themsolve complex design issues and save considerable debug time, said Newark/element14. This also helpsOEMsmeet their time-to-market goals, bringing product tomarket faster.
In addition to time correlation of analog, digital and RF signals, the
MDO4000 Series provides other features not seen in the industry including SpectrumTime to see changes in the RF spectrumover time, >1 GHz RF capture bandwidth, comprehensive RF triggers, and automated RFmarkers, said Allied Electronics, FortWorth, Texas.
TheMDO4000 Series also is said to be the industry's first
oscilloscope created forOEMs integratingwireless connectivity into their products. According to Tektronix,more than 60 percent of oscilloscope users require a spectrumanalyzer to troubleshoot embedded systemdesignswith integratedwireless functionality, said Newark/element14.
