Innovative ecological consultancy Naturally Wild is offering a groundbreaking new approach to ecology to help clients weather the economic storm, explains its managing director and principal ecologist, Graeme Skinner.
F
reecology, the latest service from North Yorkshire-based Naturally Wild Consultants Ltd, helps clients by providing free overview ecological assessments and reports for their development projects. Any cost and time sav- ings are identifi ed and eliminated, ensuring projects are on time, on budget and in-line with all current legislation.
The process involves a full desktop assessment of all completed eco- logical surveys, liaison with rel- evant parties and proposed devel- opment time frame optimisation. Following an initial assessment,
Naturally Wild’s professionally
qualifi ed and highly experienced consultants deliver a series of rec- ommendations to advise the client where fi nancial and time savings are achievable.
The service has already seen great success with a recent Great Crested Newt project that was set to lose funding unless a solution could be found and agreed with all relevant parties. The large-scale commercial unit development is currently on track for completion ahead of schedule.
Naturally Wild Consultants Ltd is
an ecological consultancy special- ising in protected species survey- ing and licensing. The business is well-established and has a repu- tation for providing clients with innovative ways of dealing with on-site ecology. The key to their success is their progressive and pragmatic approach to ecology, their experience in engineering, and close working relationships with clients.
David R Walton BSc (Hons), BArch (Hons), said: “The long-term rela- tionship we have developed with Naturally Wild has made a signifi - cant difference to the effi cient and
cost effective delivery of projects. They have been particularly ef- fi cient in obtaining development licences where protected species have been identifi ed due to the un- equivocal competence of the staff involved and an established long- term working relationship with Natural England. I would have no hesitation in recommending the engagement of this company in as- sociation with their specifi c fi eld of expertise.”
