D&F/COLORADO FOODS / HALEYBROOKE INTERNATIONAL ALPHA FLIGHT

airBaltic upgrades in Business

Latvia’s national airline, airBaltic, has improved its Business concept and is making Business fares more attractive to passengers who book early. Recent Business improvements have included the availability of Nespresso coffee onboard jet aircraft, and a seasonal menu based on products from local farmers by Mārtiņš Rītiņš, the most renowned chef in the Baltics. The airline now also reserves a vacant adjacent seat for Business passengers on its turboprop aircraft. Better availability of attractive fares for passengers who book their travel early will bring wider access to an all-inclusive service that includes priority check-in, extra luggage allowance, fast-track, Business lounge access, comfortable seating, inflight entertainment, fine dining and a variety of drinks. airBaltic serves 80 destinations from its

home base at Riga. From every one of these, airBaltic offers convenient connections via North Hub Riga to its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS and the Middle East. www.airbaltic.com

Canned wine deal

D&F Marketing and Colorado Foods have entered into a new partnership to market Friends Just Wine, genuine French wine in a can, to the airline industry. Friends Just Wine presents light and refreshing

French wines in packaging that is said to offer longer shelf life and maintain the optimum flavour of the wine over glass bottles or plastic, and is environmentally friendly. The lightweight, specially lined aluminium containers are available in 250 ml and 187 ml sizes. One of the first tasks for the new partners is

to offer an additional option to the airlines to use a selected wine from a favourite vineyard that can be packaged in the aluminum containers exclusively for that airline. www.dfminc.biz
