Plane Talking Products, in conjunction with the award winning ceramics designer, William Edwards, has unveiled a new line of bespoke bone china tableware for Jet Airways, India. The elegant First Class collection picks up
on the warm rich colours associated with Indian culture, particularly in the use of actual precious metal decoration which adds to the exclusivity. In Premier Class, the platinum design is a stunning yet subtle combination of ‘corporate smartness’ with contemporary shapes and clean lines. Both collections are made from high quality bone china and are designed to be aesthetically beautiful as well as robust and durable for use in flight kitchens. As part of the Jet Airways collection, PTP has also designed and supplied a range of stemless glassware and table linen to complement the William Edwards range. William Edwards is an award winning British ceramic designer and one of only a handful dedicated to the use of traditional hand decorating techniques that have existed in the UK potteries for generations. A graduate of the Royal College of Art, William’s designs incorporate the very latest printing techniques, pioneered in his own factory where he produces products for the world’s leading 5 star hotels and royal palaces.
His most recent design was for the Royal Wedding. The tableware coupled with the new
range of delectable Indian and international menu options onboard create a fine dining experience similar to that offered by the world’s top restaurants and hotels.
