CACI has opened a brand new dedicatedTrainingAcademy located at Centennial Park in Elstree, Hertfordshire.


The CACITrainingAcademy boasts on site facilities such as a hotel with two restaurants, bar, coffee shop, swimming pool and health club in a very convenient location.


The four training rooms are equipped with a 60” plasma screen for presentations, break out seating and lounge areas withWifi, and can accommodate up to 48 students a day.

Conference success for the FHT


The recent FHT ‘Complementary Therapies and the Pregnant Client’ conference in London proved a great success, informing attendees about the use of complementary therapies inmaternity care.

President of FHT, JenniferWayte, introduced a day of in-depth talks and studies froman expert panel who provided insight on the latest research, best practice and issues for therapists practising on pregnant clients, newmothers and their babies.

Make-up students at New College Nottinghamtransformed the faces of actors fromthe NottinghamOperatic Society recently, for their production of Beauty and the Beast at theTheatre Royal.


Using the techniques learnt on their course, the Level 3 students created characters fromthis popular fairytale including Belle, the Beast,Mrs Potts and Lumiere.


JuliaAnderson, NCN Student, commented: “Doing themake-up for a large production like Beauty and the Beast is great experience.Working with real clients really helps to prepare you for the industry. It has been hard work getting ready for each show but very exciting and extremely rewarding.”
