Cannes gets hot and steamy!


Lastmonth, the International Luxury Spa Summit took place in Cannes, France, with attendees fromacross the well-being sector flocking to attend. The event showcased keynote speeches, interactive debates and workshops as well as an exhibition area designed like a huge Spa showcasing contemporary and luxurious designs, services, cosmetic brands and specialist Spa suppliers.


Pre-scheduled one-to-one businessmeetings enabled delegates tomeet, network and negotiate with service providers, whilst a ‘SpeedMatching’ forumintroduced delegates to their ‘Spangels’ (Spa business angels).


In addition, a charity evening award ceremony was dedicated to the Cosmetic ExecutiveWomenAssociation (CEW).

Glasgow’s long-awaited first luxury Spa offering indigenous Scottish treatments is now open.The Spa at five-star Blythswood Square Hotel has been created to reflect the glamorous sophisticated style of the hotel and the vibrant and sociable personality of its home city.


The Spa covers an area of 10,000 square feet and incorporates nine luxury treatment rooms, a thermal suite

Grayshott Spa in Surrey is launching its own food range, Grayshott Spa Kitchen.


The range is the brainchild ofAdam Palmer, Executive Chef at Grayshott Spa. He and his teamwill now be able to bring the benefits of their healthy menus into the home and workplace. The full range will include perfectly proportioned readymeals and is launched with an all-day breakfast


muesli, which has been trialled by Spa guests.

Dove Spa has purchased a further 20 CACI Ultimate systems, taking the total number of systems bought by the chain to over 40.
