Mrs.Joseph James Fallon, Jr.ofMarlton, New Jersey on September 4, 2010 at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. The bride is the third generation of her family to be married at the Cathedral. The Reverend Jane Gould,aclose family friend, officiated.
Caraisaninvestment banker in the Financial Institutions Group at Goldman Sachs in New York. After attending The Langley School and The Potomac School, she graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Yale in 2007 where she earned an MPH in 2008. The bride was across country All-American and ranthe New York City Marathon with the bridegroom in 2009, finishing together in 2:58.52. Joe works as an associate at Pensler Capital
Corp.inPrinceton, New Jersey.Hereceived his B.A. as adouble-major from Yale in 2006, where he was captain of the Men’sLightweight Crew team. He attended St Joseph’s Preparatory School in Philadelphia.
The best men were Joe's Yale teammates,David Zaragoza and Daniel Coleman. The groomsmen included Phil Gerhardt, James Higgins,Robert Kennedy,III, and David
Werner.The ushers were Ivan Harnden, Charles Sparkman, Joseph Kiernan, Joseph Fahrendorf,and Trevor
Young.Carawas attended by her sisters, Dr.Kathleen Harnden and Meaghan Kiernan. The groom’ssister, Kathryn Fallon, the groom’scousin, Margaret Sanders,and Cara's friends,Patricia Bissett, Ashley Campbell, Katherine McKinstry also attended. Carawore her sister's veil and carried her great grandmother's prayer
book.The reception was held at the Chevy Chase Club.
Cara’sfather is an interventional cardiologist with The Cardio- vascular Group.Her mother is aneonatologist with Community Neonatal Associates and is the Chief of Neonatal Medicine at Holy Cross Hospital. Joe’sfather is an endocrinologist in Voorhees,New Jersey,and is aco-host of the Diabetes Living Today radio program. Joe’smother,isalaw librarian at Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg
LLP.The happy grandparents are Leona Kennedy Coyle,Marianne Cushing Kiernan, and
Dr.and
Mrs.Douglas John Sanders.
After ahoneymoon to the islands of Fiji, the couple resides in NewYork City.

Charles attended The Potomac School where he and Meaghan met, and he graduated from Duke University in 2009. He is also a graduate student at
Mr.Jefferson’s University pursuing his Master of Architecture degree.

Mr.and Mrs.Michael Harnden of Los Angeles,California on May 30, 2010 at the Wequassett Inn in Chatham, Massachusetts.
Kathleen attended The Langley School,The Potomac School, and graduated from Williams College in 2004. She received her MD from The Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California where she and Ivan met as medical students.Ivan attended the University of Pennsylvania and the University of California, Santa Cruz and received his MD from USC.Kathleen and Ivan were elected to Alpha OmegaAlpha and have published two articles together on cardiac xenotransplantation.
The Reverend Jane Gould, aclose friend of the bride’sfamily, officiated the
ceremony.The bride’sgown was designed by Lea Ann Belter.Her veil was scalloped with the lace from her mother’s and grandmother’sgown. Kathleen was attended by her sisters, CaraMarie and Meaghan Cecilia, her cousin, Mackenzie Regen, the groom’scousin, Olivia Gomez, and her friends,MauraMyers Bisogni, Courtney Fischer,Katherine Twomey and Alyson Sudow, The best man was the groom’sbrother,Alexander Harnden. The groomsmen were David Othenin-Girard, Jonathon Dillingham, Clay Stranger,Matthew Kaye,and Andrew Clark and the ushers were Joseph Kiernan and Paul Coyle,cousins of the bride,Joseph Fallon and Charles Sparkman, fiancés of the bride’ssisters. The happy grandmothers are Leona Kennedy Coyle,Marianne Kiernan, and Renee Spencer.

Ivan’sfather works in film distribution and his mother is Deputy to the Chairman of Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation.
After ahoneymoon to St Lucia, the couple are living in Durham, North Carolina where they are internal medicine residents at Duke University Medical Center.

Under cerulean autumn skies –Rachel Elizabeth Beers and Janko Andrei Mitric pledged their troths at Maryland’shistoric Glen Echo Park as scores of family and friends bore witness.Rachel, daughter of Susan L.Raysor of Ambler,Pennsylvania is agraduate of Northeastern University.Janko completed undergraduate work at The University of Wisconsin Madison. The couple met while pursuing their MAs at the Lyndon Baines Johnson School of Public Affairs in Austin,Texas.
As guests mingled before the ceremony in Glen Echo’sCuddle-Up Pavilion, childhood friend and New York guitarist, Scott Kacenga performed amedley of jazz
tunes.Nearby –inthe Hall of Mirrors -the bride donned her wedding finery.Rachel chose an elegant strapless floor-length satin gown adorned with antique brooches, and carried abouquet crafted by her brother-in-law,Adam Romo, of Sacramento,California.
Janko’sparents,Joan McQueeney Mitric and Slobodan Mitric walked Janko down the aisle to strains of Bill Frisell. Rachel and her mother followed, to Claire de la
Lune.Tossing rose petals was flower girl Luna Bella Mitric,three.Rachel's nephews: Michael, five,John, four,and Joseph, one,Francehtti acquitted themselves charmingly as ring bearers dressed in knickers,red suspenders, and rakish caps.
Adil Kanaan, afamily friend of 45 years,officiated. Before blessing the union, Adil delivered alovely homily,drawing on the two families’ long history,and on poetry and proverbs of his native Lebanon. Rachel’ssister,Lauren Franchetti of Abington, Pennsylvania gave the first reading, followed by the groom’s sisters,Julia Mitric of Sacramento,and Ana Mitric of Richmond, Virginia. Tears of joy flowed a-plenty as Rachel and Janko recited vows they'd each written.
Then it was time to celebrate in The Bumper Car Pavilion where toasts by Rachel’sAunt Julia Osborne and Janko's parents punctuated the festivities.A buffet of grilled salmon and Texas- style barbecue followed, along with ascores of to-die-for- wedding cakes baked by friends.Janko and Rachel led the dancing with aromantic duet to “Middle Cyclone” by Neko Case. Then it got wild: amedley of Serbian line dances,orkolos, followed by classic Rock,Motown,and R&B tunes kept the crowd swirling with no letup in floor action, until the park turned up the house lights.
Thailand was the couples' honeymoon
choice.They relaxed, took in historic sites,and enjoyed aday cooking Chiang Mai specialties with local chefs before returning to Washington, D.C., where Rachel is an analyst at the Government Accountability Office and Janko is special assistant in the Dept. of Veterans Affairs’ Office of Congressional Affairs.

On December 7, 1950 Amanese Gray and Charles Hemphill were married and are happy to celebrate 60 years as husband and wife.
Both graced by God at age 77, they are the blessed with nine children (Paul deceased), 31 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 4great-great grandchildren.
